Hotel U Matesa lies on the embankment of river Vltava in a quiet part near the centre of Český Krumlov.

Rybářská street is one of the oldest streets in the town. There is a beautiful view upon of the Chateau Tower, Plášťový (Coat) bridge and Church of St. Vitus from the Hotel U Matesa and Labyrinth. Hotel u Matesa consists of 7 old houses from 16 century. The total capacity is 21 rooms. This is the ideal place for staying in Český Krumlov.

The name „Mates“ has been used since 1585, when the weaver Mates Rosenberg moved in. The last reconstruction of the house was completed in spring 2003

Restaurant

Newly refurbished restaurant (summer 2009) is part of the hotel. This is a non-smoking restaurant with fire place and outdoor terrace on the embankment of river Vltava. A multifunctional conference room was created by roofing over the original part of the terrace, which was normally used as a restaurant.

The restaurant offers our clients WiFi connection free of charge and 2 plasma TV’s with satellite.

Conference room

Conference room has a capacity of 45 people theatre style and is fully equipped. This room is adequate for meetings, seminars, small family and wedding celebrations.
